A Celebration of Local Art and Culture
Saturday, June 20
The Erin Arts Festival will be held in the Town of Erin 10 am - 4 pm on June 20, 2026.
Centered on Main Street, Erin, the festival will be a one day event with artists, painters, photographers and artisans of varied backgrounds and experience showcasing their talents.
A feature focus of the festival will have artists engaged in painting live en plein on or adjacent to Main Street, Erin. Completed paintings as part of this event will be juried with cash prizes to be awarded. Artists may use any medium of their choice - oil, watercolour, acrylic, pastels, pencil, pen, etc. All participants will provide their own materials. Completed art may be sold or retained by the artist. Completed paintings may also be exhibited by participating merchants after June 20, 2026.
Also featured will be an extensive photography exhibition, a children’s creative arts exploration area in McMillan Park, a quilt display and original artisanal works.
Food and refreshments will be hosted by Main Street businesses.
Live music will be featured by local artists in various festival venues.
It is anticipated that this event will be held in conjunction with, and in celebration of, the opening of the new Wellington County Library. It is intended to be an affordable, fun and free family event showcasing Main Street Erin and our incredible new library.
